Getting started

  1. Open Bracket Control. Anyone can see the public homepage.
  2. Choose Manage Your Tournaments or Sign in with Discord, and log in with the Discord account belonging to your community.
  3. At Your Discord servers, pick your server. Organisers use Open dashboard and Server settings; ordinary members can View tournaments where the server provides public access.
  4. The Dashboard is scoped to one server. The sidebar contains Home, Dashboard, Notifications for admins, My Teams, and Server Management with settings, team management, announcements, divisions and global Discord channels.
  5. Use the Tournament and Server dropdowns in the top bar to select your context. The top bar shows Bracket, Ladder and Match Results for a selected event. On phones, expand Navigation.
  6. If you have a direct link from an organiser, open it instead. A captain-specific link still requires sign-in and verified captain/server identity.

Important: A Discord member is not necessarily a Bracket Control organiser. Ask your server administrator for an authorised organiser role. The app is free at launch and does not handle fees or prizes.

Captain matches

After Discord sign-in, verified captains can open My Matches for active match assignments across their hosting servers. New fixtures use one verified winning scoresheet per game and a separate opposing captain confirmation. Legacy events may still use the two-scoresheet match report.
